Gum disease is a serious and dangerous dental issue that needs to be treated immediately; however, sometimes that’s a bit difficult because the disease produces few obvious signs, even in the late stages of the disease. So, it’s best to keep an eye out for any of the following signs so you can fight gum disease and restore your oral health:

-Gums that bleed during and after your tooth-brushing routine
-Gums that are red, swollen, or tender
-A constant bad taste in your mouth or persistent bad breath
-Receding gums
-The development of deep pockets between the teeth and gums
-Teeth that are loose or shifting
-A change in the way your jaws and teeth fit together when you bite down, or a change in the way your complete or partial dentures fit in your mouth

Some of these symptoms may point to some form of the disease and they might only appear at the early or late stages. So, if you notice one or more of these signs, it’s best to visit our office, so we can get you the help you need right away!
